Régusse is situated only 9km west of Aups. St Tropez is 1½ hours away as are the ski slopes of the Alps. 540m above sea level, its climate is healthy, dry and temperate with pure and fresh air. A provençal market is held every Sunday morning throughout the yearin Régusse. In Régusse there remains evidence of the Templar knights. They built a fortified castle here in the 12th century and we can still explore the ruins. Many walks are possible inside and outside the town of Régusse, especially in the wooded park of 14ha. The beautiful Lac St.Croix and the Gorges of Verdon, with all their water activities such as kayaking, windsurfing and sailing plus hiking, rock-climbing and hang-gliding/para-gliding, are within 20 minutes drive of Régusse. The large town of Draguignan with all its amenities is 41km to the east and Brignoles 42km to the south.
