Port-Grimaud has been built in the late sixties by the architect François Spoerry a little bit like Venice in a provençal setting. Port-Grimaud is a real little village thanks to its varied architecture, its village square, its church its hotels and many shops and retaurants. It is easy to imagine that is has been there for ever. Port-Grimaud has a shipyard and all the normal pleasure port facilities one would expect, including a sailing school and professional divers. If one doesn't want to spent ones time on or at the sea than there is karting, golf, tennis, bowling and horseriding nearby. |
