Les Arcs with its TGV railway station connects this part of Provence with the rest of France and Europe. Its mediaeval village - renovated to a high standard - is positioned on a hilltop and overlooks the Argens valley, a very productive vine area with some famous Châteaux. The castle, right on the hilltop of the mediaeval village, is now a hotel and restaurant. Les Arcs provides cafes, restaurants and shopping with a pleasant square shaded by plane trees. Les Arcs is a lively town all year round and has a provençal market every Thursday morning. A mediaeval festival is held every summer. The town Draguignan with all its amenities is only 10km away.
